Freda Downie Competition Results
Readings of the short-listed poems in this year’s competition. Judge, Anna Avebury, will present her report and announce the winners. She will be reading from her own work in the second half.

Renga Evening
Linked to the more widely known haiku, renga is a form of collaborative poetry between two or more people. Come and experience another way of writing poetry.

The Life and Poetry of Sylvia Plath
To commemorate the 50th anniversary of the untimely death of Sylvia Plath, Daphne Schiller and Gill Knibbs will lead this evening dedicated to her poetry. Bring your favourite Plath poem or something of your own to share.
