It was clear that Terry Jones had put a great deal of thought and research into provided us with a fascinating insight into the lives, the friendship and the poetry of two very different poets, and we went away feeling both inspired and uplifted. Ver Poets provides a lovely, friendly atmosphere, which we really appreciated. Thank you. The Council announced its intention out of the blue and is being very evasive, sending out different messages, one saying the exhibition will be housed in a room in the local theatre. Apparently the staff of the Centre have been promised jobs elsewhere and feel in no position to object, although of course they are completely devastated. Over 1000 people have already signed the online petition, including Carol Ann Duffy. Please will you ask your members to sign the petition and encourage others to do the same? The best way to get to the petition is to google "save-the-dylan-thomas-centre- petition".
